Since 1988, The Growing Place Child Care Center is committed to offering a secure environment for your child to grow and learn. They are unique in the facilities that they are able to offer giving them the ability to provide services unmatched in the area!
The Growing Place seeks to develop The Whole Child. This includes mental and physical health, emotional well-being, spiritual development, and educational achievement.
By June 1997 The Growing Place was able to hire a fulltime director, Katherine Davis,
- In April 2000 the center receive an A license
- In August 2001 the center received a 3 star rating
- In October 2003 the center received a 4 star rating
- In December 2006 the center received a 5 star rating
The Growing Place now has 5 preschool classrooms with 68 preschoolers, 2 school-age classrooms with 39 school-age children and a total of 22 staff members.
We continue maintain our 5 star rating and meet heath, state and education requirements.
In 2007 we began landscaping and developing our outdoor courtyard for the children. We now have a beautiful Outdoor Learning Environment for the Infants, Toddlers, and Two year olds.
